Flash CS3 won’t Export QuickTime Freezes
It’s great that Flash 3 can export Quicktime MOV files we have alot of clients that need that. While working on some intros for http://danereidmedia.com/mytalktones/ the export began to stall. We tried leaving it for mins, hours, overnight and it would just stall at the end. Flash wouldn’t freeze but no file. Follow these steps to get it working again. It’s a bit of a work around but it works.
Under Stop exporting Change the QuickTime export preferences to record for a length of time, rather than “When last frame is reached”. For the time divide the complete number of frames by the frame rate and that it. Works like a charm.
